Teach me father
Teach me not to have expectations for then i wont get disappointed
Teach me father that once bitten twice shy
Teach me Lord that you are enough
Teach me to smile wen expected to anger, to laugh wen expected to cry, to arm wen expected to back down, and to love because you have loved me

Diamond in the rough

Tribute to another angel gone too soon
PHILIP MAGEZI 30/05/1983-26/06/2011
Truly set apart to touch the lives of every single individual that was honoured to have known u as a friend, brother, son , confidant......
You were a gift without a doubt and will be remembered for your laughter, your smile, your courage , your strength. We laughed, we partied hard, you had our backs...you were my friend and a brother...you were my Boy!
The story was told that your father passed at 32 after being shot dead by thugs in a robbery, sad to say at 28 you faced a similar wrath that within days claimed a life so precious. I promised myself that i will never, irrespective of the circumstances call God unfair but this here left me with so many unanswered questions.
You looked out for me more than my blood brothers n not only were you the life of the party you lived every day like it was a celebration. A life of physical pain that saw you undergo 4 plastic surgeries, permanent disfiguring but in all this you picked out blessings and not once did you have self pity. Admirable strength and esteem that made life floral, we hae lost a gem, a true diamond in the rough
REST IN PEACE BRO

CURIOUS CASE OF THE "GREAT"

The U.S has for long wanted to pin Gadaffi for the la belle night club bombing and lockerbie and much as both suspects were Libyan , the man himself could not be held accountable. This even sparked off the bombing of his tripoli residence all based on suspicion of him having masterminded these attacks. In this erratic attack, Gadaffi's adopted daughter Hanna was killed...she was abt 9 years old. Everything that this self proclaimed 'king' stands for arks the U.S need i mention his tent pitching fascination? So, is this a question of making the best use of timing, has this uprising presented the opportunity to bring down the man that has for so long eluded them. Mubarak succumbed to the pressure of the masses which to the U.S was a victory because Egypt was down, Libya to go and this would be the final blow to Gadaffi's dream of having a pan arab alliance that started with Libya, syria and egypt. I guess we shall just have to wait and see how this plays out. I am so not an advocate for indefinate rule but the persistent involvement of the U.S.A in every other country's business evokes so much anger in me. Cant they foccus on their economy or sth, their plate's full as it is
